The second placeholder post. This slot is for the campaign's signature issue — the one the candidate would raise unprompted at a doorstep.
Lead with the specific
An issue post earns attention by naming something concrete: a road, a budget line, a deadline. Generalities read as filler, and a reader who has seen three of them stops opening the fourth.
Say what would change
The difference between a complaint and a platform is a sentence describing what the candidate would do with the seat. Include it even when the honest answer is that the office has limited power — especially then.
Cite what you assert
Anything checkable should be checkable. Link the budget document, the ordinance, the state page. A campaign that sources its claims survives its first hostile reader.
